Most first-time founders don’t quite invest enough meeting other peer CEOs, and don’t have a strong enough peer CEO network. Build the best network of peer CEOs that you can. Go to that extra dinner. That extra meeting. Grab a beer at the end of that boring conference. I know you’re tired. But just do it.

And ask your investors and advisors for intros. Follow up and go to their office, grab the coffee, hang out later at the event.

There will be moments when, your co-founders and perhaps one early investor apart, the only ones that will understand are other CEOs.
