Ok, ok, we heard you US teams. You asked for your own video contest, you got it. Today we’re officially kicking off our “Show Us Your SaaS: US Edition” video competition.
And if you happened to miss the international video contest we ran a few months back, go check it out. It was so much fun.
We’re switching up a few things for the US edition. First, we’ve divvied up the country into 5 regions and will award prizes in each. We know there are SaaStr fans all over the country and we’re aiming to normalize the Valley volume a bit. So grab a beer and some peanuts and get ready for the showdowns — Boston vs. New York, LA vs. SF… and it’s not even baseball season yet.
But, really, it’s all about the prizes, isn’t it? Five lucky teams – one from each geographical region – will receive 2 full conference passes, VIP access, swag, and, of course, bragging rights. The Grand Prize winner (chosen from the top 5) will receive 4 full passes, an invite to the VIP pre-party, and…. a meeting with the SaaS VC of their choice. Yeah, for real. If your favorite investor is coming to SaaStr Annual, we’ll get you a 30 minute 1:1 while you’re there. And on the very outside chance we can’t? Well, you’ll have to “settle” for a post-conference Skype call with Jason. Terrible, right? 😉
The international teams set the bar SO HIGH, no matter where you’re located, you’re going to have to BRING IT to win. Check out some of my favs – Winner Brand24 from Poland, Flex-Appeal from the Netherlands, Triptease from the UK, LittleLives from Singapore – then meet all of them at SaaStr Annual 2016.
So here’s how it works…
Grab your team and create a 90 second video telling us why you want to attend the SaaStr Annual 2016 and upload HERE. Then start promoting the heck out of it. We’ll take the 5 videos (one from each region) with the highest number of votes and pick a Grand Prize Winner who will get a VC meeting + 4 full conference passes + 2 pre-conference VIP Kickoff Party invites + VIP access (reserved seating, anyone?). The four Runners Up will get 2 full conference passes + VIP access. (We’ll also be awarding prizes to some honorable mentions for super-creative submissions that are just too fab to go unrewarded.)
Spend as much or as little time on the video as you like, but make it FUN. Show us your team, office, city, best swag – whatever you want to share with the community. Tell us why you love SaaStr. Tell us why your city should be represented. Remember, this is about your team, not your product, so save the pitches for your VC meeting. And remember, the international teams set the bar pretty friggin’ high, so you might want to bring your A game.
Also, DO IT NOW. The longer your video is up, the more time you have to get votes, and the more likely you are to take first place.
Deadline for submissions is 11:59p PST January 11, 2016. Voting continues through 11:59p PST January 18, 2016. We’ll pick a Grand Prize winner from the Top 5 and announce all the winners on January 20, 2016.
Only teams located inside the U.S. are eligible (sorry International fans, you had your shot in September).
