Salesforce is Hiring 1,000 Sales Execs … to Help Replace Humans with Agents

So will AI replace humans, make them more effective, or create a need for even more knowledge works?

Maybe it’s not that clear.

Salesforce says it’s seeing such high demand for AgentForce … which replaces humans for agents … that it’s hiring an additional 1,000 folks in sales and product to sell it.

Will AI replace humans?  Push them up the value stack?  Or maybe even create more demand for the best knowledge workers?

We’ll see.  Right now, it seems like many AI companies and Salesforce itself need … more humans to sell their products.

Do enterprises want to buy from an agent?  Or a human?  If it’s the latter, maybe AI will just create even more enterprise sales jobs.  Not fewer.
