Can you make over $1 million a year only by being an entrepreneur or a C-Suite executive?

When I was a VP in the F500, I’d say the majority of true Corporate VPs made > $1m a year when you include equity (RSUs in particular) and bonuses.

Risk adjusted, being a senior VP at a hot tech co., or a very mature tech co that really needs you … is probably the way to make the most money.  Risk adjusted.
