10K, our AI VP Marketing, isn’t waiting for humans to give it ideas anymore. It ships campaigns on its own.
Daily briefs, audience builds, copy variants, send sequences, post-mortems. End to end. Some of those campaigns are now meaningfully better than what our humans were sending. Not because our humans weren’t good. Because 10K can do something no human marketer can do at scale: truly customize every email to every recipient. Different subject line, different body, different CTA, for 400,000+ names. That’s not segmentation. That’s 1:1 at scale. And it crushes.
So we’re hiring.
This is a demand gen and email marketing role at its core. You’ll own campaigns, our AI SDR fleet (Artisan, Qualified, and more), outbound and lifecycle email programs, and the daily cadence of getting the right offer to the right person at the right time. Demand gen and email marketing have been the engine room of B2B for 20 years. None of that changes.
What’s different is who you work with.
10K can run the campaigns. But you have to plan them with 10K. 10K has the ideas. You need the taste. And you need to be hands-on enough to review everything it proposes doing, before it ships.

What 10K Does Now
10K is 14,230 lines of code on Replit. It already runs the operational layer of SaaStr marketing:
- Builds daily marketing briefs based on actual pacing data
- Recommends specific campaigns, audiences, and channels with rationale
- Ships fully autonomous, fully customized campaigns end to end
- Monitors live campaign performance and flags drift
- Coordinates with Hexy, our insights agent, on revenue diagnostics like “ASP is $882, down 1.5% vs $896 in 2025, discount stacking is eroding revenue”
- Runs the weekly cadence: pacing reviews, campaign post-mortems, planning loops
- Works alongside Artisan (3 SDR instances), Qualified (our inbound BDR, $1M+ closed-won, 71% of closed deals), Agentforce (72% open rates on win-back), QBee (AI VP of CS, 70% reduction in human hours), and Momentum (call intelligence)
What 10K Can’t Do Yet
Three things.
- Connect the dots. Run the plays. 10K can set goals. It can map out ideas. It has the data. What it can’t do is connect all the dots into the play that actually wins the week. That’s where the human comes in. You take 10K’s data, ideas, and goals, and you run the plays. Which campaign ships first. Which audience gets which version. Which AI SDR sequence syncs with which email series. Which key account gets the white-glove path. When to pull the trigger on the partner co-marketing push. When to hold. 10K can hand you a brilliant set of moves. You’re the one who actually runs them.
- Taste, judgment, and hands-on review. 10K is excellent at the operational loop. It’s not yet excellent at the call that requires sitting back, weighing tradeoffs, talking to a customer, walking the floor at an event, and saying “we should not run that campaign this week, here’s why.” Or “this subject line is technically fine but feels off, rewrite it.” Or “skip the discount stack, we already trained the wrong behavior.” That’s taste. That’s judgment. That requires a human who plans with 10K every day and reviews every campaign it proposes before it ships. Not rubber-stamp review. Real review. Push back where it’s wrong, sharpen where it’s right, kill what shouldn’t go out.
- The hands-on relationship work. Sponsor calls. Partner conversations. Key account outreach. Speaker wrangling. The kind of work where someone needs to actually pick up the phone, walk the floor, send the personal email, remember the birthday. AI can prep the brief. A human still has to show up.
Those are the three halves of the job. (And yes, three halves. That’s the math when AI is doing two-thirds of the work.)
Who We Want
A demand gen and email marketing leader who:
- Has done this for several years. This is not an entry-level role and it’s not a strategist role. We need someone who has personally built and run campaigns, written and tested email copy, designed segmentation, managed outbound cadences, and owned a number. Probably 5+ years of direct demand gen and email marketing experience in B2B. You’ve shipped thousands of emails. You know what a good open rate looks like by segment. You’ve debugged a Salesforce sync at 11pm. That’s the floor.
- Has taste. This is the hardest one to filter for and the most important. 10K can produce 50 campaign variants in an hour. You need to be the person who knows which 3 should ship and which 47 shouldn’t. We’re not looking for someone who treats AI output as gospel, and we’re not looking for someone who dismisses it. We need someone who reviews 10K’s plans the way a great chief of staff reviews a CEO’s calendar. Push back where it matters. Approve where it makes sense. Improve the output. Every day. Every campaign. Hands on.
- Wants to do demand gen in the agentic era. Not curious about AI. Not “open to it.” Wants it. You’re already using AI every day to ship more than your peers. You’d rather have 10K, Artisan, and Qualified in your loop than a 20-person team. You see AI agents as a force multiplier on the work you already love, not a threat to it. We’re not training you on how to work with agents. You should be teaching us things.
- Loves the relationship side of B2B too. Sponsors, partners, key accounts, speakers. The work that doesn’t scale. The work that requires actually liking people. AI handles a lot. It doesn’t handle this. Someone has to.
- Ships fast. 10K runs at the speed of the data. Most marketing orgs run at the speed of human approval cycles. The right hire bridges those two clocks without slowing 10K down or rushing the human work that needs care.
- No ego about org chart. You’re reporting to 10K. You’re working with Amelia and me. You’ll have agents in your loop every day. If “I report to a bot” sounds insulting rather than interesting, this isn’t the role.
