Because:
- They’ve had 5+ years to practice, and
- They often get to talk about the same thing again and again and really hone it.
You will get really good after 4–5 years, too.
The first time I had to do it, I froze up and walked out of a room of 10.
Now, it’s easy to get up in front of 5,000 with no prep at all.
All CEOs get pretty good at it, as time goes on. Especially because you get to talk about what you are most passionate about.
