For me, Quora is (x) a short-but-flexible-form blogging platform that (y) comes up with the ideas on what to write for you.

As someone that finds writing cathartic, but not in novel-length (or really, fully Medium-length) doses, that’s a powerful combination. Not having to come up with ideas on what to write about also saves me 90% of the time and effort.

At a personal level, I’ve met hundreds of great founders and executives and investors from Quora I never would have met otherwise. It has allowed me to authentically interact with people at some sort of scale, which is supposed to be the point of social media but hard to make work in practice.
