Do start ups without a purpose nor vision thrive?

No — but don’t get confused about all this talk of “changing the world”.

Many of the best, most driven founders I know have a simple purpose — to win.  To build an amazing company into something epic.

They don’t really care exactly what type of company it becomes, what type of customers, what the software evolves to doing … even what the “culture” is.

The purpose is to win big.

You may be wired differently.  But it’s enough.
