We have a lot in store for attendees at our inaugural Europa event—our one-day conference in Paris this summer. With the event less than two months away, we can hardly contain our excitement for SaaStr’s trek across the Atlantic.

Between the stellar speaker lineup, internationally-inspired content, and très Parisian ancillary events, there’s plenty to look forward to. Below, we list off a few reasons why we think you should be getting just as excited about SaaStr Europa 2018 as we are:

Kicking things off with an apéro @ The Family.

Before the big show begins on Friday, we’re getting the SaaStr party started on Thursday (6/14) evening with a special Happy Hour for Europa ticket holders. Sip on custom cocktails (a SaaS and Stormy, perhaps?) while chatting up other attendees and event sponsors at Paris hotspot The Family, a one-of-a-kind space that’s dedicated to fostering a tight-knit community of local entrepreneurs.

Paris, meet Silicon Valley. Silicon Valley, meet Paris.

Go beyond mundane cocktail hour small talk with fellow SaaStr community members in an edgy, innovation-friendly environment. Ask questions, share learnings, and get to know others who may be handling the same struggles, wins, and roller coaster rides as you. Our Thursday evening apéro offers a unique opportunity for Europa attendees and sponsors to become part of Paris’ most authentic startup scene, if only for a night.

Learning from the crème de la crème.

When it comes to presenting the best that the European tech community has to offer, SaaStr Europa is pulling out all the stops.

The first Europa will see Mulesoft’s Ross Mason in conversation with Harry Stebbings, and Zuora President Marc Diouane joining Jason, for two exciting and informative fireside chats. Meltwater CEO Jorn Lyseggen will give us his two cents on how to bootstrap your way to becoming a unicorn, and Aaron Ross is set to share the crucial ingredient that’s missing from predictable revenue. Marketing gurus Ashley Smith and Andrus Purde will grace separate stages to share best practices and learnings from their careers, and a panel of successful startups founders and CEOs will regale us with their tales of international growth. And this, my friends, is just the tip of the iceberg.

Schmoozing with the SaaS community and mentoring up with Braindate.

The opulent venue itself is extraordinary, but when it comes to SaaStr Europa, it’ll be what’s on the inside that really counts.

We’ll be hosting up to 1,000 passionate members of the SaaS community, including VCs, entrepreneurs, founders, executive team members covering every function and experience level, influencers, and more. Not only will attendees be privy to interesting and actionable session content, they’ll also enjoy the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals from around the world.

We’re also taking that opportunity up a notch by bringing in Braindate, which will offer Europa attendees the chance to connect in a group or one-on-one with industry thought leaders and mentors. Easily ask the big questions or seek career- and industry-specific advice, and get matched up with one or more professionals whose experience can directly inform whatever answers or feedback you’re looking for. Yes, it’s really that easy.

If you need a short break from the firesides, panels, and other presentations, you’ll have the chance to explore new and innovative business solutions while mingling with the event’s sponsors in our expo area, which will be open to attendees throughout the event as well as during a wrap-up Happy Hour. And good news for those looking to update their LinkedIn profiles, as we’ll also have a headshot photo booth open to conference attendees during all session breaks and lunch.

Hearing it straight from the VCs during VC Day.

Exclusively for CEOs and Founders, SaaStr Europa’s VC Day, scheduled for the morning of Saturday, June 16th, will be jam-packed with useful content around topics such as fundraising best practices, how to make a great impression as a founder, and what top investors are looking for today.

And the best part of VC Day is that our speaker lineup is definitely something to write home about. We’ll hear from August Capital’s David Hornik, Point Nine Capital’s Christoph Janz, Blossom Capital’s Ophelia Brown, Adara’s Liz Fleming, Insight Venture’s Teddie Wardi, Partech Ventures’ Reza Malekzadeh, and others about what SaaS founders and CEOs can expect from the current state of venture affairs.

And, yes, okay—attending a conference in the City of Lights.

It is really freaking exciting, after all.
