What is the impact of the trend of moving toward higher rounds of funding at the series A level?
The main impact is it is harder to be a “tweener”.
Rounds are bigger, but with bigger checks also come bigger expectations. $2m ARR is the new $1m ARR to show true early traction. Or, higher growth rates are expected before that.
Put differently, there’s more pressure on Series A SaaS deals to be potential unicorns.
