What are the pros and cons of going to college?
I’ve hired a bunch of great employees that didn’t go to college.
In fact, in each of my start-ups, several of the most driven, highest-performing folks never even started college.
I didn’t care, discriminate, etc. But I noticed … and it’s tough.
Really, the deck is stacked against you. The presumption is against you.
If you can prove yourself otherwise — great.
If you can start Facebook or Box or Microsoft in college – great.
If you can’t — you’ll have to do it in the real-world, starting from the bottom. That can be painful.
