You can “just” be an amazing Individual Contributor.
But if you can’t lead, and if you can’t recruit, and you can’t convince people to join you when there is no rational reason to do so … then you can’t be CEO.
Go find a co-founder that can be CEO. That can lead, recruit, fundraise, etc.
