The difference is that they’ve worked out ego issues.  Which is a good thing.

Co-CEOs are sometimes OK.  But really, it’s confusing — and often shows ego issues unresolved among the founders.  Who’s the CEO?  The VCs want to know.  The customers want to know.  The press wants to know.  The outside world wants to know.

And a CEO and a “COO” as co-founders is weird.  Why the heck do you need a COO at $500k in ARR?

But … if you guys really are peers in many ways, but one of you is going to be the public face … the other can be President.
