My (slightly educated) guess is they file to go public in Q1’17.

Why?

I think there’s a clear expectation from at least some of the capital sources they are raising from at $17b, $30b, $50b, $70b and higher … of an IPO within 24 mos. or so.

That’s pretty standard.  Very late stage investors have a certain type of risk they are looking to take.  IPO’ing within 24 months is usually at the rough limits of that risk profile.

Now, these expectation don’t have to be met.

But filing in Q1’17, and going out in Q2’17, seems about the edge in terms of traditional timing at least that matches the types and stages of capital they are raising.
