Why are so many people on Quora entrepreneurs?

I think it’s because being a founder and CEO is lonely.

Not literally lonely … but it’s really hard to get answers to those CEO-level questions from your team. And especially to talk about those questions. And it’s really hard to find peer CEOs to talk to, especially outside of core tech centers.

Quora is a place to get and ask those questions. That you can’t ask your team.

And to get answers to questions you didn’t even know to ask, but then you realize, it’s the same questions other CEOs and founders like you are struggling with and asking, too.

That’s what I’ve learned … 30,000,000 views later I think.

  • The number of views / followers / answers that entrepreneurship topics have on Quora is truly amazing when I compare it to almost any other category. I answer quite a lot of questions related to my space in Quora (eCommerce) but one good answer to entrepreneurship related question gets more views than any in other answer in eCommerce.
